Audio recordings created on SquadCast are recorded separately in individual files, one per participant. Mixing combines these separate files into a single combined file that can be used for sharing and editing in post-production.
Mastering is the process of making recordings sound consistent and tonally correct. Our integration with Dolby.io automatically removes background noise and hums, ensures loudness levels are consistent, and reduces mouth clicks, heavy S’s, and popping P sounds.
Yes. For example, loudness normalization defaults to -16 Lufs but can be adjusted to fit your preference. Additionally, each Mastering option can be disabled independently from the others.
